BENEFITS OF BEING A MEMBER
 
 Peer support.The School Nurses Association of NSW offers a forum for peer and professional support and networking within  the school nursing community. It encourages the sharing of ideas and support for members, who often work in isolation, as  well as the exchange of knowledge and skills. The network also helps school nurses keep ahead of current issues or problems,  such as the ability to track diseases.Professional development and supportThe Association promotes continuing education,  by means of seminars, lectures and printed information. It also hosts a two-day annual professional development workshop.  The Association also produces supporting material such as these guidelines and a newsletter each school term.
Representation
The Association represents its members to the NSW Nurses Association, and provides a united and authoritative voice for nurses working in schools.
Access to information
Being a member of the Association means easy access to a single source of information. The Association notifies members of events, education opportunities and updated circulars.
BECOMING A MEMBER
The School Nurses Association of NSW invites all registered nurses working in schools to become members. Click  here to download Membership Application form. Membership is due in January each year. Please send application with cheque ($60 annual  membership fee) to:
